sending data from 400 to 400 -- MIDRANGE-L

Hi,
In order to send objects(data, programs, etc.) from one AS/400 to another
over a TCP/IP network, I am currently saving objects (or libraries) into a
SAVF, FTPing them by TCP/IP address to the target 400, and then restoring
them.  However, as the target machine is becoming more used, the SAVF being
sent puts the target machine into critical storage problems before I can
restore it to the target and delete the SAVF.  Can anyone show me a better
way which does not utilize this SAVF and it's need for the extra space on
the target machine?
