I've got the online manual, but they are not easy to print because they are not in .PDF format. I'm waiting until I have a weekend. Thanks for the tip on manual installation! Why is this upgrade so difficult? Art Tostaine, Jr. CCA, Inc. I started on Sunday at 8:00am and finished on Monday at 3:30am! What a wonderful time I had! I recommend that you NOT use the automatic installation. I had to reinstall the LIC twice, the operating system three times and let's not even go into the LPPs. You definitely need the Software Installation manual. You should have received on with the CD. Be aware if you have any vendor products. They can and will cause you grief. If you have TAATOOLS, make sure you upgrade to the newest V4R5 before letting users on the system. I had several interactive sessions lock up with users trying to use OLD tools. The subsystem wouldn't even end. We ended up ipling abnormal because of this and ended up with several damaged data queues. The support center was very nice when I was able to get someone on the phone. One comment made to me by their tech support was that they are seeing a 25% failure rate with the automatic installation process. I'll be upgrading my production 730 box this Sunday but I'll using the manual process. Well, I hope I didn't discourage you. Good luck!
