I placed an order on 8/14 and was shocked to find out it's scheduled ship date 
was 8/21/00.  When I
went to verify that it shipped, this is the message I got from IBM's web page.  
I especially like
"Entry Not Found" value for the recovery timeframe:

Machine Type:  5755
Scheduled Ship Date:  08/21/2000
Status:  Your order is being manufactured.
Your order has been effected by a manufacturing process interruption. The 
estimated ship date of
08/21/2000 has been affected. Analyzers are available Monday through Friday 
from 7AM to 4 PM central
time.

The estimated recovery timeframe is Entry not found. calendar days past the 
scheduled ship date
