As Todd notes, this setup can be done with virtually any POP3 client. I'm using Outlook Express (or "Lookout!" as some call it ;), and it works fine. To set it up, go into Accounts, then add a new mail account, then give it your name, e-mail address on the /400, and the /400's name or (I think this works! I used the name, though, so I'm not certain) IP address as the POP3 and SMTP servers. I originally had it working with Outlook Express 4.01, and it has continued to work with 5.0 and now 5.5, through all the myriad service packs, security patches, and version upgrades. It worked first time, no fussing or mussing. The /400 was at V4R2 when I set it up, and V4R4 now. I used the Bytware instructions that others have referred to to set up the /400. BTW, this same setup should work for any e-mail client that supports the POP3 protocol. The setup steps may be a little different, but the principle is the same. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
