I wasn't gonna reply to that post but, in defense of those loosers, thats the whole point to the site. It is stated in plain language on the front page and in some other warning on the site. It's main focus is not about learning, this list and others have established themselves as those "learning institutions", GenX is all about venting and not being worried about who you offend. There was some pretty funny stuff there but the rest their databank and lost it all. This was like a month ago and some dude posted a buncha fake IBM announcements where there was a major shake up in the org chart of IBM, really funny stuff and kinda scary because it was a parallel of what actually happend not a week ago. Anyway - don't be so pent, got to www.rpgenerationx.com and vent. -----Original Message----- From: DAsmussen@aol.com <DAsmussen@aol.com> To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com <MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> Date: Tuesday, August 08, 2000 10:54 PM Subject: Re: What is an AS/400? >Jon, > >In a message dated 8/8/00 6:47:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time, Jon.Paris@hal.it >writes: > >> At the risk of being branded an "old fogey" (it wouldn't be the first time >> but mostly it's because I support RPG), I'd hate to recommend the genX site >> to anyone right now.
