Do yourself a favor. Go to www.wrkdbf.com <http://www.wrkdbf.com> and
download WRKDBF. It is available for both RISC (V3R7M0 and higher) and CISC
(V3R2M0 and higher) systems.

                Subject: DSPF Command

                Hi All,
Being relatively new to the AS/400 I have what I hope is
going to be a
                simple question.
Within our company we have two older AS/400's, old running
3.2 and the other
running 3.7, I think. One was developed at a outside
location by people no
                longer with the company.
On one of the systems our analyst has been using a DSPF
command to display
file information. This command also allows the packed fields
in this
information to be displayed in a non-packed format.
This command does not appear to be on the other AS/400 that
we have. Does
anyone have any ideas why and what we would have to do to
create the command
DSPF on the machine not having it? I can not even locate the
source for this
                command, DSPFSRC in library QIDU.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
                Scotty
