Title: RE: forms software

I haven't had any other experience on forms software except Creat!Print.  Love it.  I had absolutely NO training and created approx 45 forms.  Their support line is amazing and are very willing to help.  The best part is that if you just can't figure it out, you simply e-mail them your form and they fix it but also tell you what was wrong.  But you do need postscript printers.  I cut expenses by ordering paper w/ our company's colored watermark in the middle and it looks really professional.  I've heard from other users that if you go to their training it's unbelievable.  I am not a PC type person but found it very friendly to create the forms and the mapping.  Book are very easy to follow.

We evaluated EZPrint and it was a solid product.  We have been using the
Optio product for several years. It has virtually the same
functionality.  Both products let you develop the forms layout on a PC
or on the AS/400.

Create/Print is a little more versatile, but it requires Postscript
printers and all the forms development must be done on a PC.

All these products store the forms, and do the print merge on the 400,
so printing is run and managed from the 400 once development is
completed.
