  • Subject: call S36 menus from CLP

Is there a way to call S36 menus from a clp? The users all run with *S36 environment. I'm trying to improve security, remove cmd line access, but the menus don't appear. The users are used to keying menu name or a proc name (like IV-for inventory menu).
 I changed to run:
Attention Key pgm (clp)
user enters desired menu on prompt
I run STRS36PRC a proc that has the // MENU OCL
proc ends
clp ends
no error
no menu display, no change
But there's more ...
then type in another menu directly on cmd line
it displays
F12 - return to previous screen
The menu that would not display is now there!!
V4R3 w/latest cum.
Any ideas?    System will become native in next year, but we cannot wait.
