What features would you like to see them include as enhancements in SEU? I can understand your comment that it does the things you want it, so I am befuddled about your wish that they continue enhancing it. I can't imagine what else they can add. It now has full help screens, prompting, copy and paste, copy append and paste next, 80 column, 132 column, auto-backup, editable option file, and many other new and/or vastly improved features. Why should we be upset that the product is stabilized now? There really isn't much more that can be added is there? _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ Rob Dixon <rob.dixon@erros.co.uk> Sent by: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com 07/27/2000 06:20 PM Please respond to MIDRANGE-L To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com cc: Subject: Re: Large screen monitor Al "Al Barsa, Jr." wrote: > Being a dumb guy, I like to use dumb terminals when working at a > command line. I believe that a dumb screen is vastly more productive for heads down data entry than any PC, with or without an emulator, and they don't need rebooting. I am sure others feel the same. I can see absolutely no benefits from Code/400 - only possible problems. I have had Code/400 for nearly three years and have not installed it - I am content with SEU. With all your influence, can't you persuade Rochester that SEU, for many, is a much better option, that there is nothing wrong with green screens for non graphical tasks, and that green screens don't turn blue! They should carry on developing SEU.
