Hello, I'm trying to setup SMTP on our AS/400 (620,V4R3,cum99341). We have an Exchange mail network and I want to send mail to my address. The AS/400 TCP/IP setup should be okay, and I can see (ping) the Exchange machine. DNS also works fine. Now, when I do a SNDDST to oliver.wenzel@ciba... , the message runs through the distribution queue and 'disappears'. I don't get an error message, but the mail doesn't arrive, either. I tried sending mail from Exchange to my user on the 400, and this seems to work. At least, I got something in the \QTCPTMM\MAIL directory (how do I read that entry?). Obviously, I'm missing something here. How does the AS/400 know where to send the mail. Do I have to define something on the Exchange server?
