Re: is operating system always to blame, was: Ready to scrap

Eric, there is a difference between an application being locked up
and the system being locked up (although to the end-user, there is
no clear difference). The *SYSTEM* should NEVER lock up. An IPL
should never be *necessary* (although at times advisable).
