Title: IP forwarding to AS/400 web server

Question for you network gurus.

We have an AS/400 we're using for web serving.  Because of company security
reasons, we have a firewall/gateway in front of this box that only allows
requests to port 80 of this AS/400 inside our firewall.

I wanted to log IP addresses of people coming in, and I was only getting the
IP addresses of the gateway machine.  So, I asked them if they could turn on
IP forwarding, they said no problem.

After that, it no longer worked to view the site from outside the firewall.
They turned off IP forwarding, and it works again.

Anyone dealt with this before?
