Wrong.  It has a lot of meaning because people are free to speak their mind
without the "gurus" telling them they're wrong.  Everyone's opinion counts,
and since most tech discussion forums are a game of "D&D", this levels the
playing field.  Everyone is equal.  There are no gurus, and everyone's
opinion matters.  No hiding behind titles, years of experience,
certifications, etc.
