From what I see, a cgi pgm is nothing more than RPG or C w/some api calls. And RPG & C have been doing credit cards on the 400 for years. Net.Data is capable of making the same call. And if you want a FREE shopping cart website (in RPG) go to www.easy400.ibm.it It's FREE to copy, and in great detail tells you how it works & how to customize. Mel Rothman & Giovanni Perotti deserve a medal (& more) for it. I think WebSphere is a great product. And thankyou to IBM for FINALLY getting "most" of WebSphere on the 400. But it is not the only method, especially for those of us who cannot afford the hefty machine to run it on, and the hefty price for all the advanced features in WebSphere. Not all of us are trying to be Amazon.Com (but some are, and doing it in a variety of tools, including RPG & Net.Data).
