The standard kind, like create index, not the EVI. EVIs are only available
thru the SQL interface.

Rule of Thumb: index what you use to search on.
Rule of Thumb: index what you use to select on.
Rule of Thumb: index what you use to sort on.

As for rules, there are far too many to just post them on this list.
