I have never needed a spool file that big.  But in RPG using
program-described printer output, you can define PAGEn to be any size
you want,  The default is 4 digits if you don't define the field, but
if you do define the field it can be larger (but must still have zero
decimal positions).

With an externally described PRTF, I believe the limit is 9999.

Since you said 99,999 instead of 9,999 I'm not sure your're referring
to the actual page number field, or if you are what HLL you are using
to get a default roll over at 5 digits instead of 4.

Even RPG II let you redefine a PAGEn field to over 4 digits.
