Another option would be to open an account on one of the time-share 400's available over the internet. They normally have all the compilers, including C. Compile them and create a SAVF to transfer to your machine. The account should only run $25-30 per month. Even if you kept the account active, it would take years to get to even the P05 price. And you may not even need to keep an account full-time if it is just to compile some exit programs. Just reactivate the account when you want to make changes.
