RE: how fast are Mod 170 comm ports

AFAIK, only the _specification_ for V24 gives a maximum bitrate of 19.2.
Unless IBM have done something VERY strange, this is not an "imposed" limit.
56k, 128 etc may work depending on equipment, line quality, EM interfearance
etc.
