I should've known, given all the foorah about atof, atoi, c2n, etc. :-(

Yes, it would be very nice. Or even putting the functionality into the MOVE
opcode. Your example does of course result in a number with 2 decimal
places, but doesn't help when attempting to convert a string like "-1234.56"
to packed decimal.
