For an example of an open cross-platform library available on AS/400, have a look at PdfLib 3.01 for PDF generation at: http://www.pdflib.com/ This site provides "C" source-code for creating PDF documents and can be compiled on the AS/400. However I can guess why he waited for v3.0 to support the AS/400! We need more authors like him to port their products.
