Ok, I am not an expert on this so I got the explanation
from another one of our Techs. I will try to translate. We use a 10
Base T unshielded triwsted pair wiring scheme (like coax?). The protocol
is SNA. The blue cable comes from the controller on the AS400 to and thru
an active patch panel and then on to the I-O interface and then from there to
the printer itself. The HP is on the network but the Xerox printers are
not. They don't necessarily have to be on the network. Again,
