Dare, Why not just let Host Print Transform do it? Use the BARCODE attribute in your print file just as you would for an IPDS printer, then create the print file as *AFPDS (rather than *SCS or *IPDS), and create the printer device (or remote outq if you have to) with HPT turned on. It's simple and it works quite well. Dave Shaw Spartan International, Inc. Spartanburg, SC -----Original Message----- From: Oludare [mailto:oludare@ix.netcom.com] Hello guys, I know it is possible to print bar-code to Printronix printer by sending bar-code stream data with the data to be bar-coded. Can I do the same for HP laser printer? If yes, what is the bar-code stream data for HP laser or where can I find the information. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
