RE: JD Edwards directions

Just got back from their yearly BIG conference and this was a big topic of
discussion.  Most of us ARE headed in the direction of their "new" product
(OneWorld) but do NOT want to get very far away (if at all) from
host-centric computing on the 400.  It's just too damn reliable (darn it!)
I believe there will be given lots more press and documentation (I think a
redbook is near completion I understand) to this solution and we will be
reading it carefully.  Ed McVaney himself got lots of earfuls from loyal 400
folks and think he heard loud and clear... "DON'T TAKE OUR 400'S AWAY!!!"
