Thanks for the info. I moved the card to a slot on the other side of my 6500 card. It works now. It came up even the the wrong slot and DST saw the drives, it just wouldn't boot. Very strange. It's unfortunate that I didn't try this before deleting ASP1 - would have saved me all that reload time. Oh well, it's not a production machine any more - it's just a hobby at this point ("that machine started as a B40.. I soldered the first twinax cables myself... sniff sniff..." etc). I suppose a little entropy reduction was in order anyway. Thanks for the help. -----Original Message----- From: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-midrange-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Carley, Neil Sent: Tuesday, June 20, 2000 12:07 PM To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' Subject: RE: 9337, 6501, E45 config troubles Hi David, The B600 6952 src refers to a problem with the IO controller card. Try changing the 6501 to a different SPD slot, then IPL to DST and check to see what cards and disks you can see, also check the logs for any failing items. Connect the 9337 array to port 1(lower) on the 6501 card and the 68pin terminator to port 2 on the 9337 array.
