FYI, you can get splitter cables made up so that a single UPS and port
can control more than one AS/400. We had a similar situation (2 as/400's) at
a customer site.
When making up the cables, they have to add some diodes into the cable
otherwise u get very strange things happening (machines shut down immediately).
