The WRKHDWRSC *CMN will trace each down.  Inbound might 
be a trick.  For example, are they outside lines or 
extensions?  Hook up a simple analog phone to one.  Do 
you have to dial 9 to get out?  If so, they are an extension.  
If not, there are tricks to find out, and they normally 
vary from local phone company.  One method is to call 
someone who has caller id.  Another is to call the operator 
and ask.

Subject:        MODEMS QUESTION

We have 3 modems attached to a 720. How do I find out which modem is which 
ctl, lin ,dev? how do I find the phone numbers for them. I have looked in go 
hardware, wrkcfgsts and wrkdevd with no success.

What I am trying to do is let our software vendor(jde) dial into our system 
to check some things.
