If you have access to your "Electronic Customer Support/JDELINK" manual very
thin (about 10 pages)....It tells you how to set it up.... If you need it I
will fax to you....only 3 pages are are important....send me your number in
private.... I had to "re-configure" mine a couple of times before they
dialed in. You can type in Go JDELIN2/JDEECS
option #8
2
4
1
wrkcfgsts *lin QJ* ----- QJDE is the line
wrkcfgsts *ctl QJ*
 QJDE VARIED OFF
   QJDE VARIED OFF

vary them all on... then tell them to dial in and watch it go active.. If it
doesn't work you may have to delete them and re-creat through that menu...

There is also a JDELINK lind on my system that got created....
wrkcfgsts *lin j*
see what comes up...
GO JDELINK2/JDELINK - in the book this is the lind that is for dialing in
but I don't remember which one it actually picked up... Good luck

Subject: MODEMS QUESTION

We have 3 modems attached to a 720. How do I find out which modem is which
ctl, lin ,dev? how do I find the phone numbers for them. I have looked in go

hardware, wrkcfgsts and wrkdevd with no success.

What I am trying to do is let our software vendor(jde) dial into our system
to check some things.

thank you jeff g.
