I don't know anything about embeded SQL. I've never used it anywhere I've ever
worked. But I can tell you this. There is a brand new book out by Midrange
Computing named "The AS/400 Programmer's Handbook" - **Volume II**. It has all
kinds of "great" **examples** for embeded SQL, as well as trigers,
subprocedures, exit programs and many many more. We have both volumes of the
AS/400 Programmer's Handbooks and I can tell you that they are most excellent!

I understand how things work more clearly by examples!

Hi,
To embed SQL into RPG, is the SQL lic pgm required?
Is there any place that has example code (RPGIII & IV)?
Thanks,
Matthias
