RE: dialing in to as/400

you should be able to set up a SLDC thats always varied on, and dial into
that.  You'll need whichever isn't the normal type of modem though
(syncronous/asynchronous - can't remember which it is.

Alternatively, there must be a way to do it via PPP...should be in one of
the manuals.
