A *MAX1TB logical cannot share the access path of a *MAX4GB logical, so a
new access path will be created.  Other than that, your plan will minimize
the interruption to normal operations.

Personally, I changed the command defaults on CRTPF and CRTLF to *MAX4GB
(using copies of the commands in a library higher on the library list of
course).  There has not been a performance problem for us, and those *MAX1TB
logicals are a LOT bigger than the equivalent *MAX4GB logicals.
