Microsoft Access and ODBC

Has anyone encountered any problems using Microsoft Access via ODBC on the
AS/400?  I have configured the file DSN (via Client Access) to point to an
AS/400 database file which was created via Query.  Everything seems to work
fine when attempting to display the new table in Access (after all other
steps are successful), I receive an error on the Microsoft Access side that
indicates that the file cannot be viewed.  Now I am aware that Microsoft
Access (and most other Windows/DOS applications) really like to have their
files accessed via a drive letter (e.g., c:\) and ODBC does not follow this
model.  If anyone has any suggestions regarding this (including, "Call
Microsoft") I would appreciate it.
