If you think there might even be the slightest chance that you'd ever want
to play with those boxes again, be sure to boot them up once a month or so.
There is a timer of some kind in the OS that will require a new system
password if the machine is left turned off for too long.  If the machines
are off maintenance (or you took them home to your basement) you might have
trouble getting them running.
