Do you have some contract with the bank & technocrats.co.uk so that there are
no legal difficulties with technocrats.co.uk selling code derived from
software originally written for the bank?

Were you an employee with the software belonging to the bank that wrote your
pay checks?

Or were you a vendor in which case the software belonged to you & the bank
had the right to use it. Are you a vendor with technocrats.co.uk, in which
you have granted rights to them to sell your code?

Was what you enhanced what originally belonged to the bank & does your new
employer have some financial arrangement with them to share in the financial
benefits from the derivative code, or did you mis-state yourself ... RMF/400
is really a product of the skills you aquired at the bank and is wholey new
code?
