We have a model 510  P30 on V4R4.  Our BP just told us that Jun 30 is the
last chance we have to upgrade this box to a newer model.

We asked for a quote based on this:  Upgrade to a 7xx series but go down
from the P30 to a P20.  He was totally flabbergasted.  

I just thought I would check if this is possible ?  Or based on today's
announcements, should I just wait until they drop the prices on the 7xx and
buy a new box ?

Also, does anyone know what the CPW would be on the 510 ?  When it came out,
they didn't use CPW. Makes it difficult to show management that we would not
be losing horsepower by going to the lower processor group when we don't
have the same type of measurements.
