Kevin, >I had intended to evaulate Aldon's Flex/EDIT but ran into problems at the >first step. The Aldon techie guy has told me that Flex/EDIT will only work >with Client Access (we use Rumba) Are you using twinax and SNA? Can you use TCP/IP? >Also, I have heard of another editor called Code Studio, but have no idea >who produces it or where to go for an evaluation copy. Any ideas? It is produced by Bob Cozzi and last I knew was still available free for beta testing. Start at www.rpgiv.com and follow the links. >Finally if anyone is using any other editors that they can recommend, please >do. There is also QuickCode, but I know nothing other than the link: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/medialink/ Some environments like Baby/400 or Lattice also have editors, but I don't know if they are available separately. And the integration to the 400 won't be as good since they are intended for stand-alone use. My preference is for Flex/Edit. But I'm connected via TCP/IP.
