The Automobile, the Airplane, the electric light, the phonograph, the telephone, the Personal Computer, etc. All of these are used extensively now for reasons that their inventors could not possibly have imagined. They were not "needed", when they were invented, but now that we've found good use for them we could not possibly imagine living without them. Due Credit: I've been reading "Guns Germs and Steel" by Jared Diamond, and the above thought was lifted directlyfrom that book. I highly recommend the book. jte -- John Earl johnearl@400security.com The PowerTech Group 206-575-0711 PowerLock Network Security www.400security.com -- +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
