Art,

You can create an IFS directory under the QFileSvr.400 directory with the 
name of the remote AS/400. Add a host table entry with the IP address of 
the remote AS/400. You should then be able to see the IFS directory of the 
remote system. Copying files to this directory will put them on the IFS 
directory of the remote system.

The downside of using this technique is that you may not get much feedback 
on connection problems between the two AS/400s.
