RE: Regarding system power...

I had this before.
I had a APC ups, with a "Control UPS" intermediate box that was supposed to
interact with software on the 400 to do all sorts of fancy stuff.
Snag was the software only worked properly on CISC - we were RISC.

Waited till i had some downtime, powered off and removed the control box
from the loop (ups plugged directly into the 400 now) and all was fine.
