I have some old mainframe (9021- mod620) 3490 tapes that we are wanting to restore to an AS400. Has anyone ever done this ? Are you able to display the tapes and determine blocking, labels etc. Can you use CPYFRMTAP to actually restore the data ?? Any help anyone has would be appreciated.
