Sorry about my last analogy, I think is more like, you buy a Ferrari (if you
buy one of this ones I don't think you put it on a dirt road), they give you
free dirt tires and 4wd.  But you have to pay extra for the 5 speed
transaxle, the Pirelli tires, etc.

AS/400 world has been forever an 5250 interactive world, almost all the
applications you buy on the market are directed to that world.
But they charging you extra to keep up on that world.  Usually, if you need
an upgrade is because your interactive load is bigger(more screens, more
users, etc), not the other way around.  It hard to think that I will need an
upgrade because I had installed 50 new printers.

I think a more accurate analogy would be that every car has a V-8, but if
you go down a dirt road too fast without paying for the dirt road option the
fuel injection brain shuts off several cylinders.
