RE: AS/400 to PC FTP

Do you have an FTP server running on your PC?  It sounds like you are initiating the FTP from the AS400 which requires a FTP Server running on the Host PC.

I am trying to FTP from our AS/400 to my PC but I keep getting a message that it can't connect! I can, however, successfully PING. What confuses me is that I can successfully FTP from my PC to the AS/400 but it doesn't seem to like it the other way round.

 

Is there some extra set-up that is needed to perform this task?

Any advice would be appreciated.
