CV and VC entries in audit journal -- MIDRANGE-L

Hello All,
I'm trying to monitor starting SLIP and PPP connections to my AS/400 and
have found (in OS/400 Security - Reference V4R3) that there are some special
entries the system should insert in audit journal when connection is
started. There are no detailed description of what we need to "switch on" in
the system to have these journal entries be posted. I never saw them on my
system. Can someone explain me how to train :) the system to put Connection
Verification entries to QAUDJRN.
