I believe Deja's mirror of the IBM news server is unique. I've read somewhere that they have special arrangements with a number of "private" news servers to mirror their newsgroups. I don't remember how reliable that source was, though. If Remarq doesn't have it, that's a good indication that it's not a generally available UseNet newsgroup. > -----Original Message----- > From: Draper, Dale [mailto:dale.draper@seu.sega.com] > > Using another web based usenet browser (Deja.com) I did find > a newsgroup > called ibm.software.hostondemand. > > http://www.deja.com/dnquery.xp?QRY=hostondemand&ST=MS&svcclass > =dncurrent&DBS > =2 > > > Remarq.com did not find this group. > > > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Shaw, David [SMTP:dshaw@spartan.com] > > Sent: Wednesday, March 29, 2000 10:22 AM > > To: 'MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com' > > Subject: RE: Host on Demand > > > > Jeff et al, > > > > It's on the IBM Software news server, not on public Usenet > servers.
