Jeff et al,

It's on the IBM Software news server, not on public Usenet servers.  The server
name is news.software.ibm.com, and the newsgroup is ibm.software.hostondemand.
There's also a beta newsgroup and a hostondemandgui newsgroup on that server,
along with newsgroups for Code/400, VA RPG, VA Java, VA C++, every flavor of DB2
except DB2/400 (comment: grrr....), Net.Commerce, WebSphere, and a few others.
I wish they'd put an echo of comp.sys.ibm.as400.misc on that server, plus of
course a DB2/400 newsgroup - that would cover about all the newsgroups I ever
get a chance to look at.
