RE: CUM 0049440

Ken,

I installed the V4R2M0 to V4R4M0 upgrade & the same cum package Saturday.  I
also loaded the latest database, CA/400, performance tools, Y2K, & hiper
PTF's.  I'm running an S20 with 2 processors & BPCS 6.0.02 C/S version for
an ERP package.

I've not seen anything that seems to be extra long or at least nobody has
bothered to tell of any long waits.  Of course I am generally the last
person to know.

        Hello ....

        I applied the latest V4R4 CUM PTF package last night. 

        Our system response time has gone to hell...

        Our average prior to the CUM was 0.20 - 0.25 seconds per
transaction. 

        We are seeing some response times of up to 5 minutes per
transaction. 

        Thank goodness it is intermittent, but it is still happening quite
often.

        Has anyone else applied CUM C0049440? if so have you noticed any
performance
        problems?

        These problems "MAY" be related to file opens, but we aren't sure
yet.
