Restoring the Physcial File From Tape
RSTOBJ OBJ(pfname) SAVLIB(library) DEV(TAP01) OBJTYPE(*FILE)

Copying the Physical File Back To  A Spooled File
OVRPRTF FILE(QPRINT) CTLCHAR(*FCFC)
CPYF FROMFILE(library/pfname) TOFILE(QPRINT)

Now the spooled file should be ready to print.  It's name will be QPRINT.

The spooltool utility does not seem to have the option to restore the save
spooled files. Does anyone know an easy way to restore the original spooled
files with no loss of attributes.

Yikes!  Too many features?

You know, SPLTOOL does have the option to be configured to only show the
options that you want to use.  There is a SPLTOOLCFG command that lets you
limit which options are shown and used.

Anyone of you know where to download uitility to save spooled files to
physical files. I just want a simple means to do this. I have visited URL:
http://www.bvstools.com and  they have something like that, but they are
too many features.
