As much as I love my AS400, I've had very good luck with Exchange. I have
it running on a cheap clone made from spare parts, using cheap IDE drives
(mirrored). Works great. Runs for months at a time. Doesn't even crash,
as NT has a habit of doing. I agree - for once a Micro$oft app that works
well. Just make sure you've got all the appropriate service packs (NT SP5
and Exchange SP2). And, don't use the NT box for ANYTHING ELSE. True, it's
_supposed_ to be able to do lots of other things, but in the end it's still
just a PC. It can be made to work nicely with NT and Exchange, but don't
push your luck.
