Pardon my ignorance for I can barely spell IFS, but don't these commands
have to be run from the PC or LAN?  Or do they only work for PC/LAN type
objects?

* sample
del '/qsys.lib/rob.lib/mydtaara.dtaara'
* remove members - must be done before deleting a file.   Have to have an
exception to prove the rule.
del '/qsys.lib/mylib.lib/myfile.file/*'
* remove the file itself
del '/qsys.lib/rob.lib/file.file'
