Please ignore my previous reply. I found the commands on the AS/400, and they work very well. The one exception being that when deleting a physical or logical file, one doesn't use the DEL command. One apparently uses the RMVDIR command after removing the members. This means I'll have to differentiate between the various types of files, of course, but that's simple enough, especially when compared to the alternatives. Thanks Rob! Donald R.
