Dean,

We're not going to scrap it to buy something else. If we scrap it, we'll
have to enhance our own inhouse code. I really don't want to do this. We are
a software house. We make our money by writing and then selling our code. We
don't make any money by writing in house tools (although we write quite a
lot to enhance productivity). But, where's the ROI if most of the resources
of the machine is spent on controlling code at the expense of developing
code?

As far as putting it in its own ASP, again we're a software shop. 95% of the
users of this machine are using this product in one way or another. Putting
it in its own pool wouldn't accopmplish much. Besides, I don't want to have
to spend time tuning this product. They should tell me what needs to be done
to make it run, and I'll do it. If it runs OK, case closed and I'm happy. If
they can't and I have to spend a lot of time tuning it so it will run, I
might as well spend that time writing it inhouse to get exactly what we
need.

IMHO,
Ron
